Special Occasion Servers sent us the most wonderful bartender for our celebration. Mike was professional, friendly, and organized. He took care of everything, well beyond our expectations, and left everything clean and tidy.

I contacted Starr Kelley to arrange for bartending services for my daughter's high school graduation party. It was a backyard home party and I was concerned with having underage guests and alcohol at the same event. Even though it was a very busy time of year and I called only a couple of weeks away from the event, Starr came through for us. We got a great bartender who was professional and friendly. His signature cocktails were very popular and I got great feedback from my guests. It was so nice to be able to enjoy my daughter's graduation party worry-free! I would recommend Special Occasion Servers and definitely use them again.

My daughter's Bat Mitzvah was the second event I've done with Special Occasion Servers - I wouldn't use anyone else. The event was all buffet and not formal: the wait staff and bar tender were extremely helpful, efficient and friendly. They knew exactly what to do without being told, (one quick review of the 4 hour event was plenty to ensure that all went smoothly) and I didn't have to think about a thing. They were glad to be there, worked very well as a team and at the end, had all extras cleaned up and packed up in minutes. I highly recommend Special Occasion Servers. Thank you!!

Less than a couple weeks before my wedding, I realized that the event staff company we had hired months ago was not going to cut it. And I all I can say is that Starr and her team absolutely saved the day. When I first spoke to Starr, it was obvious she was a true professional and took the responsibility of running an event very seriously. She knew all the right questions to ask, and I immediately felt much better knowing that she was at the helm. I was incredibly impressed with the team that showed up. They were professional in all ways and were extremely pleasant. They also anticipated our needs, adapted easily, and kept things running smoothly throughout the night. They truly went above and beyond what we expected, and I would not hesitate to recommend Special Occasions to anyone. In fact, I would highly recommend them if you want to ensure a successful event. I just wanted to thank you for a fabulous job at my wedding this past weekend. Jackie, Lisa, and Rae were extremely helpful, pleasant, and made my day run smoothly! I truly enjoyed working with all three of them. I didn't have to worry about a single thing during my party because these three ladies were on top of everything! All of my guests raved about their professionalism, as well as their kind personalities. I will surely recommend you and if I am ever in the need of wait staff in the future, I will be requesting Jackie, Lisa, and Rae again.

Dear Starr - Just wanted to let you know how great Kristin was at our recent bridal shower. She was so friendly and helpful and made everything so easy. I have never hired help for a party before but I will never throw a party without help ever again! SOS staff was outstanding and I got to enjoy every second of my party. I would recommend them highly.

I am writing this review with great pleasure for a job well done. We just had a graduation party for my wife in which Starr and her crew truly saved the day. We had over 130 friends, relatives and colleagues set to attend our outdoor event. The week before we made our calls to the various vendors, etc., to ensure everything was in order when we were informed by the servers we had secured months earlier that they would not “be able to make it.” Anger and frustration quickly gave way to panic as the event was less than a week away. Some friends had given us some suggestions on servers they had worked with in the past but as you may imagine they were booked solid with such short notice. I found Special Occasion Servers Inc. on Gigsalad.com and when I called Starr answered. I explained my situation and she informed me that though she was booked she would make some calls for me that day and see if she could work something out. By that evening she had sent an email saying she believed she had a couple servers and she would confirm the next day. True to her word we spoke and she was able to book two people for our event. Her staff (Michelle and Lynn) was extremely professional (both in attire and attitude), mature, and experienced in their work. They asked all the right questions, offered suggestions, and then executed a perfect dinner allowing my wife and I to enjoy the day without any complications. When the dinner was over it was such a treat to not have to worry about spending the next day cleaning as the ladies had taken care of most items. The following day the emails started coming in with guests praising the party and the great work of Special Occasion Servers. I only have positive things to say about the staff and Starr and I will use them again for sure. In fact one of those friends who gave us a name to call a few days before grabbed a business card she was so impressed.
