My husband played original music while I spoke.

Overview

My name is J.C Jackson. I am a performer, public speaker, educator, and writer. I have been writing & performing the unspoken stories around me since I was 4 years old. I have been in the education community teaching literacy for over 10 years. Currently, I am the District Instructional Technology Specialist where I support all the Library Media Specialists of a school district in Houston. Last year, I published the book, "Elijah Broke the Gate" (EBG). True performance pieces about child loss. In Oct. 2022, I premiered the theatrical production of (EBG) at Midtown Arts Center.

I am a great public speaker. I would describe myself as authentic & whimsical. Book me for your next event!

Jayce was AMAZING!

Jayce and her husband came to speak to our audience of Senior residents. She told us her amazing story in a very moving and impactful way. Her husband added to the experience by playing beautiful piano music while she spoke. She was very interactive with our audience and everyone who experienced her was very moved.
