Overview
Hello! My name is Anna and my topic is Mental Health: The Shadows Behind Your Strengths. For me, I am your typical overachiever. Involved in everything, my life looks perfect from the outside. When I take you back to the downfall of 2011 (what I refer to as the "dark ages") I tell a story that shows that mental health issues can happen to any of us, and if we don't take care of our minds, we won't stay healthy long. I walk through my story, how I coped with my mental illnesses and how I see mental health differently now. Going from surviving to thriving - I believe all of us can do great things when we take care of ourselves - mind, body and soul.

What to expect
If you want you audience to leave motivated and inspired to be the best version of themselves, I am your girl! I use humor and storytelling in all my presentations and work hard to connect with the audience.
I have a standard contract available and am reliable and prepared - so all you have to worry about is your event!
About
Anna Nelson is a public speaker centered around Mental Health and keeping our minds healthy. Anna grew up in Maple Grove, MN and moved to Duluth, MN in 2008 to pursue a Bachelors Degree. Anna shined throughout her early years of college but ran into some bumps towards the end - leading her to be diagnosed with Depression and Anxiety. Anna is full of life, and loves to use her storytelling skills and sense of humor to inspire us all to take a look at the person we are and look for the best in ourselves.
