Fronted by two outstanding female vocalists and backed by a rock-solid rhythm section, our goal is to make our shows fun and full of energy. We also take pride in being highly professional and easy to work with so that every venue can count on us for a successful event.

The roots of Southern RanT go all the way back to 1998 when our singers - Rodna and Tami began singing together in a praise and worship team at their church. Fast forward to 2023 and they decided to form Southern RanT (R for Rodna and T for Tami). The full
band came together in 2024 with the addition of guitar and percussion – rounding out the sound with just the right vibe and chemistry.
Since that time Southern RanT has had successful bookings in the greater Raleigh area for a number of venues and private events.
Southern RanT has full PA system, lighting and sound technician. All we need is a stage or other suitable area where we can set up along with electricity.
We will closely with you to make sure we fit in the space that you have available and that our volume is appropriate for your audience.
