Bilingual in Spanish. I DJ/MC and primarily DJ Weddings and Corporate events, but I am available for any occasion. I also DJ for many City community events, Awards Ceremonies, park events, etc. I cover SoCal, but I can also DJ the Santa Barbara area & travel to NorCal & the Mexican Border with Mexicali & Ensenada. LED Uplighting, Monogram/Gobos (name/initials in light) and Pink or Red-Carpet with a Backsplash banner are some of the upgrades I offer. We walk your venue together and I am Very familiar with different genres in Spanish and English, but have also played Arabic, Egyptian & Indian music. See you at the party!

Luis was a terrific DJ for our Cinco de Mayo party. He was completely tuned in on the evening and started with wonderful background music for dinner and led into a much more lively set. Being bilingual was a plus and he knew all of the perfect Latin tunes for our event. He played a nice mix of traditional, modern and current music both Spanish and English. He was great to work with.

January 6, 2025Greatest DJ Ever!
Luis was the ultimate DJ for our 50th Anniversary Party. By the time I arrived, an hour before the event, everything was set up and ready to go. We gave Luis a play list of all the music we wanted played: classic rock n roll, special love songs, the Highway Country hits that we love, and special favorite Latin songs by Edie Gorme, Andrea Boceli that my mom loves.
We also gave him a timeline, clarifying what kind of music we wanted played during the beginning cocktail hour, dinner music, and a theme song for my husband and I to dance to.
Our party was amazing, and Luis helped with providing time during the evening when our children, our best man and ourselves needed time to speak to our guests.
Luis made eye contact with me throughout the event to make sure that things were going well.
He was a pleasure to work with, and we loved our music as it was played throughout the evening. I told Luis that he was now my only DJ that I would hire for special events from now on. He made it so easy.
Do yourself a favor, and don’t miss out on this wonderful and professional DJ. Luis is the BEST!!!!

October 23, 2024Karaoke was the highlight of our wedding!
We hired Luis to be the karaoke DJ for our wedding after party. Through the planning process he was incredibly responsive and helpful. On the day of, the karaoke set up was awesome, with awesome lights, a big screen, and plenty of microphones for all our friends/family. The karaoke was truly one of the big highlights of our whole wedding. Thank you Luis!

What to expect
I strive to provide only the best of DJ/music entertainment services. I MC all of my events and my setup has to look the best and professional. I like color on the dancefloor, so I always include lights to go over dancefloor to make it fun. The music will play continuously, with no pauses between songs or abrupt genre changes, which make the dancing a horrible experience. I work with the dance floor to determine the music to be played so if one genre is not working, it is changed immediately to ensure a full dance floor and happy patrons. You are there to have a good time so let's have Fun!

Additional booking notes
My setup is always very clean and appealing to the eye so rest assured, when I appear in the background, it will be visually pleasing to the camera. I can provide many setup possibilites depending on your venue and space available. Table and speaker stands can be black and out of mind or they can be lit in the color of your choice.

Set list
There is no set list of songs as every event is unique. Some events are Bilingual, and some are themed, so it's difficult to always play the same thing. I have incorporated Persian, Egyptian & Arabic music into some of my Weddings & other events, while others are Spanish only or English only and could be genre specific. During our event planning and discussion prior to the event, musical styles and preferences are discussed to make sure that music is geared to your party specifically. I am there to play what you like, not what I like!
Influences and inspiration
Every event is a learning experience. I DJ to many organizations and City Departments throughout Southern California with guests from all ages, cultures, backgrounds and different event types. I strive to make each event unique to my clients and their guests. While events can be similar, no 2 events are the same and each comes with its own style and flow. (Ex: I DJ'd Wienerschnitzel's 50th Anniversary event with a Classic car show in Beaumont, Ca. and was featured in the Record Gazzette Paper but I also DJ at market nights/street fairs, galas, corporate events & much more). I love my job!
