Our Performers:
Our aerial performers and professional entertainers that provide single-act and ambient entertainment for events of all types. We hang our aerial equipment either from the ceiling of a venue or using our free-standing aerial rig. Our portable rig can be set at three heights: 11 ft, 15 ft or 20 ft. All of our performers have 2+ years of performance experience and are professional entertainers and aerial coaches.

What to Expect:
During your event, our performers will perform a variety of aerial sequences that include jaw-dropping drops, splits, swings and choreography. We perform to any music that is playing at an event or can provide a music list to a DJ or the event hosts. Our aerial performances range from 30 minutes to 4 hours. We recommend a 1 to 1.5 hour performance for the best quality performance. You will receive Vegas-quality entertainment and feel like you took a trip to the circus.

South Dakota Aerial and Arts is Sioux Falls' only circus performance group. South Dakota Aerial & Arts has been performing in the Sioux Falls area since 2022 (previously Cirka Performance Arts) and has offered aerial and bungee fitness classes since 2023. We have worked with many venues and companies, including: DJ Jer Events, The District, The Sioux Falls Convention Center, The Stampede, Skyforce, The Arena, The Alliance, Reliabank, Swenson Wealth Management, and more.

We offer two full-length shows. Below is a short description of each.
1) A Century of Circus: Take a trip from the 1920's through 2020's with this nostalgic show that takes you through the decades. This is our most diverse show, and will leave your audience clapping, hooting and hollering, and dancing along.

2). A Fractured Fairytale: watch Little Red and Alice take on the Evil Queen in a full circus production with many twists and turns. This show involves a lot of storytelling and is full for the whole family.

To determine our set-up for your event, we can do an in-person or virtual venue tour. We can use our freestanding aerial rig (goes up to 20-feet), our lollipop lyra (base is 8 feet wide) or can explore rigging from the ceiling, if the architecture allows for it. Just want ground-based acts? Wonderful - we can arrange for only fire, juggling or acrobatic performances.

Every performance is unique and we want to help create a special experience for your clients, families, friends and companies. Whether you are looking for an ambient performance or main-stage entertainment, we are flexible (literally) and want to help make your events memorable.

Our team will need to conduct a rigging audit prior to our event to determine if we are able to set up rigging in the space. This will include an audit of the ceiling infrastructure, height and the planned seating plan.

Rigging must be set up prior to the start of an event for all indoor performances.
