Sounds Unlimited Wedding Entertainment

First and foremost, I gave the owner (Cory) every opportunity to discuss the issues that we had with the DJ for our wedding, but he doesn't seem to want to hear negative feedback. This makes the situation that much more infuriating!

With that being said, the DJ service that Sounds Unlimited provided for our wedding was terrible. The Sounds Unlimited website is set up so you can pick 50 requests and coordinate the high lights of the evening. Great idea...if the DJ is organized and has the information. The incompetent DJ that we had played maybe 5 requests to include the first dance, and then played his taste in music. This resulted in several guests making trips up to the booth to ask him to play the requested music, and he still ignored their requests. Needless to say...this prompted multiple guests to leave early from the reception. We stated that we did not want any ridiculous songs played, such as the chicken dance...so he decides he's going to play "The Candyman". Who the hell wants to hear that crap!!! In addition, he failed to print out the reception agenda and requests from the website, as this caused him to be extremely unorganized and caused him to continuously ask us ridiculous questions throughout the reception. This was extremely distracting, and caused us a certain amount of frustration when we should have been attending to our guests. Instead, we ended up babysitting the hired professional. When the DJ can't even coordinate the send off announcement and song for the bride and groom he's a hot mess. One of the bridesmaids had to coordinate the send off...completely eliminating the DJ. I wish we would have eliminated Sounds Unlimited from our affair!!!
