Sounds of the Summer

I love keeping the audience on their toes! my set list ranges from Sabrina Carpenter to Bob Marley to Steely Dan. I play songs that people would've never thought they would hear a steel drum play. It surprises audiences in a good way. I also interact with audiences by allowing people to play the drum (if they want to). I generally play calypso, soca, reggae, pop, and classic rock genres. If a song is requested in advance, I can learn it for ya!

I have been playing steel pan for 10+ years, and I am currently in college studying music. I have performed with a variety of Coastal Carolina University's ensembles such as their big band (jazz), world music ensemble, etc. I also perform regularly around South Carolina outside of school. I have performed for Dirty Don's Oyster Bar and Grill, Landshark in Barefoot Landings, Ocean Reef Resort (Myrtle Beach), Buoys on the Boulevard, and even some festivals such as the Myrtle Beach Winter Wonderland Festival. I also perform for private events and weddings.

I typically have a small setup, but if it's a larger venue/audience, I use a mixer/mics. I only need a power outlet for my speaker.
