Holding a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of South Florida and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan, Vanessa has appeared with respected organizations including Opera Tampa, Winter Opera St. Louis, Florida Opera Theater, St. Petersburg Opera, Hubbard Hall Opera, Opera Orlando, South Florida Lyric Opera, The Spanish Lyric Theater, Stageworks Theatre, and the Southwest Suburban Symphony. From 2021 through 2023, she toured the United States with the Vienna Light Orchestra, performing music from beloved productions including The Phantom of the Opera and The Greatest Showman.

Vanessa's artistry has earned her recognition as the inaugural Guest Artist of the Year for the University of Tampa's College of Arts and Letters Recital Series.
