August 16, 2025Sophia's talent cannot be expressed into words. She performed at our catholic wedding ceremony and it truly surpassed every expectation we could have had! Our guests continue to talk about how amazing the violinist was and how it added so much depth to our traditional music. Sophia was so professional and responded to all questions/ideas promptly. She was able to coordinate with the music director at the church to ensure a harmonious collaboration as she learned and performed over 10 songs. Instructed by; Dr. Harris - Clippinger, Dr. Richard Bauer, Brandon Correa, and Dr. Mary Lou Boderman while attending South Salem High School and performed with their internationally acclaimed chamber orchestra and symphony program.
Proceeded to take music classes at University of Oregon for 2 years, and participated in the All City Orchestra for 2 seasons.
"Don't Fence Oregon In" is a music video I was featured in on youtube (LISTED IN VIDEOS), with rave reviews from locals of Oregon.
Taught percussion and orchestra in Tulsa, Oklahoma and provided private instruction to students ages 4-50.
Won 1st place in 'Tulsas Got Talent' 2013 performing a dubstep violin piece.
Have been providing musical entertainment throughout Oklahoma, Texas, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho for the past 10 years.
Currently the lead female vocalist, and electric violinist for the Idaho National Guard 25th Army Band (see link in videos!).
I've played every kind of event, all the way down to a national hot dog party. I'll bring the best music to your event! Message me for unique requests to ensure my skills fit your needs.
I use beautifully prepared backing tracks to sing or play violin along to. Mostly acoustic guitar and piano, but I am more than happy to find other backing tracks to suit your event needs.
I have electric and acoustic violins, and a personal sound system that's suitable for a room of approx. 300 people, as well as a microphone and microphone stand. (Indoor and outdoor accommodations available).
