Sophia Griswold Band

Sophia Griswold is a funk, R&B, and Pop trombonist, vocalist, and performer. As the leader of Sophia Griswold and The Grizzlies, she specializes in playing popular music with a unique emphasis on the horn section. Sophia and The Grizzlies pull from Trombone Shorty's modern twist on trombone and Bruno Mars’ high energy and stage presence. She most recently spent six months performing in the official Expo 2020 Dubai band opening for artists such as Norah Jones and Christina Aguilera. She has also performed at notable venues such as the Newport Jazz Festival and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Sophia Griswold and The Grizzlies are sure to keep an audience grooving and on their feet!
