Megan Ernst is a professional violinist who provides high quality live violin music for special events. With over 20 years of experience at a wide variety of events, Megan is able to adapt to the needs of each individual client. She has provided beautiful accompaniment to many weddings and cocktail hours, adding to the joy and ambience of such an important day. She is equally comfortable providing dignified and sensitive music for memorial services and funerals. Furthermore, she is very experienced providing music for retirement communities and loves getting to know the residents. Megan is comfortable with many styles including Celtic fiddling, folk, classical, and pop.

Megan was wonderful! Unbelievably talented. She answered our request on short notice but never made me feel like a hassle. She was well dressed, early, and respectful. I CANNOT say enough good things about her. She will be my only call for violinist in the future.

About
I have been playing violin since the age of 9. Over the years I have played in the University of Redlands Orchestra and the Corona Symphony Orchestra in California. I also played in the University of Edinburgh Orchestra in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Following college, I taught private violin lessons and played solo violin for fiddling gigs, weddings, funerals, and other events.
I am comfortable tailoring my repertoire to fit many different events--I have experience playing fiddle (Irish styles and Old Time/Bluegrass) as well as classical, Christian, and pop.
