Our premise is that every situation, relationship, and organization is improved when the individuals involved choose to be proactive instead of reactive.

Yet many interactions focus on what’s wrong, instead of what’s right. Many people tend to dwell on fixing blame instead of fixing a course for the future.

Our motto is, “There must be another way, if only because there has to be.”

The Global institute offers inspiring keynotes, interactive seminars, instructional videos and blogs, enlightening quotes and recommended resources on the important topic of how to approach every challenge, problem, and trial with a collective “How can we resolve this and move forward?” mentality.

Deedra Abboud is an attorney and author as well as the founder of the Global Institute of Solution Oriented Leadership. A frequent media resource, she has been interviewed on the local networks of CBS, ABC, NBC and FOX and has spoken for such organizations as ACLU-AZ, Arizona State University, City of Phoenix, and Pearls of Wisdom. She has been profiled in the Arizona Republic and has been featured in the New Times and on the main page of BlogHer (9 million views every month). Acclaimed for her community leadership and advocacy, she received the Martin Luther King Award in two different cities, Tempe and Phoenix, AZ.

When she's not helping clients or speaking for organizations, she's traveling the world. At last count, she's been to 15 countries including China, Egypt, Germany, France, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and United Kingdom.
