Music is SUPPOSED to be enjoyable, exciting, and moving. About

Brett and Lucas have been playing professionally together for nearly a decade. Over the years they have provided live music for countless events, concerts, and over one thousand weddings in the central Florida area.

ABOUT LUCAS
My violin journey began in Tallahassee, Florida. In 5th grade, we were allowed to choose an elective course for the year. I wanted to take art, but my best friend convinced me to sign up for strings class instead. Cut to 20+ years later, she hasn't touched a violin in over 2 decades and I'm still going! I couldn't be more grateful to that friend for changing my life (thank you, Elise!)

I got my very first violin, and I hit the ground running. I joined the middle school (and eventually high school) orchestras, as well as the Tallahassee Youth Orchestra. I took weekly private violin lessons and attended any summer music camps my teacher recommended (including one in Germany!) I made it into the Florida All-State orchestra multiple years and went on to earn my bachelor's (Florida State University) as well as my master's degree (DePaul University) in Violin Performance.
Violin is what I do, and what I love.

ABOUT BRETT
Brett Chinander is a versatile violist and violinist with over 15 years of professional performance experience. Classically trained, she holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Music with a focus on viola, and brings a deep mastery of technique and expression to every performance.

Known for her adaptability, musicality, and passion, she approaches every performance with precision, energy, and personality.

Whether performing complex classical repertoire, dynamic pop and rock arrangements, or engaging contemporary projects, Brett is dedicated to bringing every piece to life and connecting with audiences through her music. Born and raised in Florida, Brett loves the beach, relaxing by the pool, and spending time with her beloved chihuahua, Ellie.

Additional booking notes

For the most part, we don't need anything technical from you - we have our own music stands, iPads, foot pedals, speakers, microphones etc. However, one thing we DO require is shade/cover. Many events in Florida take place outside and we can't risk the damage from the intense sun or rain on our electrical equipment, but most importantly, our instruments!

Set list

Our list of repertoire is always growing! Below is a list of modern songs, but we are also more than happy to perform classical music, such as Pachelbel Canon, the Wedding March, Ave Maria, etc. If you don't see a song that you'd like below, please feel free to let us know and we'll add it! We always love learning new music! All of the songs listed can be performed as a solo or duet, and all include amplification and backing tracks.
