I can play a set of songs with some individual requests mixed in with material that I am familiar with. My main genres are folk/pop/acoustic with a relaxing and gentle mood. I own my own amp and mic and can bring it and set it up.
Hailing from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Loralee began writing music in her college years at Michigan State University. A member of a musical family, she spent many years learning the flute and dabbling in musical pursuits before finding her calling in songwriting. In 2011, a love of folk music drew her to pick up an acoustic guitar and write her very first song "Little Dynamite". The first of many, it spurred a drive to continue on.
In 2015 Loralee released her first EP "If You Were a Song"- a short collection of quirky and imaginative pieces. After the release, she continued to play and promote her music at local open mics and venues. In 2016 she began teaching music lessons at a local school which led to a new passion in teaching.
Loralee's latest release "Seasick" is a chill folk/pop melody with soothing vocals and emotionally spurring lyrics. You can listen to it on Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube Music and more.
I will require an electrical outlet nearby to plug in the amp. I can bring an extension cord on request.
I take influence from indie pop, rock and folk artists such as Phoebe Bridgers, Clairo, and Billie Eilish
If venue/customer is providing their own equipment, I would like an overview so I can make sure nothing is missing.
