We hosted a celebratory lunch to mark a major milestone on our project—completing a large phase with zero injuries. Wanting to add something special to the occasion, we brought in Sol Y Rumba as a Latin band to liven things up. Initially, we expected them to be more of a background addition, but they completely stole the show. Their infectious energy and vibrant performance had people out of their seats dancing in no time.

As one of the event coordinators, I was especially impressed by how seamlessly they integrated with our existing PA system and jumped right into the performance without a hitch. Even visiting executives from our out-of-state headquarters couldn’t stop raving about how fantastic the band was. Sol Y Rumba didn’t just meet expectations—they exceeded them, turning a celebratory lunch into a truly memorable celebration.

We will definitely have Sol Y Rumba back for our next milestone celebration!

Sol y Rumba was an incredible addition to our 15th Annual Columbia Heights Day. Super easy to coordinate with pre-event, showed up on-time and prepared, as well as putting on an amazing performance. Their vocals were great and got the whole crowd dancing with a variety of genres.

Sol y Rumba was a hit at our event! They arrived early to set up and test out their sound, was very flexible with our schedule and getting us access to their PA system, etc. The crowd enjoyed their enthusiasm and willing to engage the attendees. A pleasure to work with and most definitely will consider booking them again. The sound of percussion and acoustic was ideal.
