We are a comedy improv troupe from NW Arkansas who specializes in short form gigs for audiences of all ages. That means we engage with the audience in a fast-paced, interactive, type of show.
We are made up of regular people who love to make others laugh and sometimes make them think. Members include a former competitive gymnast, a computer geek, a best-selling author, a theater nerd, a sheep herder, a medal-winning soldier, a do-gooder and a girl next door.

February 17, 2015We had Sock Monkey preform at a Conference the end of January. They were absolutely hysterical. My side hurt so much from laughing. The performers were excellent. I would recommend Sock Monkey to anyone looking for good clean laughter!

March 2, 2014We had Sock monkey at our Church's Sweetheart banquet. This group is extremely funny, easy to work with, and family friendly. The whole family will have a great time. I was very impressed with the intelligence of the group members. I strongly recommend Sock Monkey for any event. It was truly a amazing time.

Our performances are funny, fast-paced, and highly interactive. Everything we do is made up on the spot from audience suggestions. During certain parts of our show, audience members are even invited to join us on stage, though no one is singled out or made to perform.
In addition, we will get to know your audience ahead of time to make the performance relevant. Our very best work is done in PG-13 mode so you'll never be embarrassed by what we say.

Sock Monkey Improv is based on the works of improvisers from Second City and the iO in Chicago. We can be compared to what you might see on the TV show "Whose Line Is It, Anyway."
Generally, we need very little in the way of set up. That's the beauty of improv!
