I was so thankful So What Kombo responded promptly and professionally when I needed a jazz band on short notice. Ken sorted out all the arrangements with me to play at a Sunday luncheon about a week beforehand. The rest of the jazz quarter arrived on time and were pleasant to work with. Our audience of UCSB alumni in the late eighties and early nineties were thrilled with the music and some insisted on dancing throughout the event. We would definitely hire So What Kombo again.

April 29, 2013"So Why" choose anyone else??
For our French theme, the band found us a "chanteuse" to sing in French. The music was danceable for the cocktail hour and was soft through the dinner service. Perfect ! I have used this groups many times and reccommend them to friends.

Ken and So What Kombo were GREAT! THeir sound was wonderful and fun, they were on time, respectful, engaging. Our guests loved the music. I would definitely hire them again and refer So What Kombo! Thank you all for helping make our event a hugge success!

We are a Jazz Quartet... Sax, Guitar, Bass & Drums... We also play events as Trio & can add Vocalist or Keyboard if requested... We've been a working Group of Musicians in Santa Barbara since 2000... There are many talented local musicians we've played with over the years and we often use them to help fill your musical requests. AFTER you contact us for an event... We'll complete an agreement / contract to make sure all the details are covered & On The Day Of The EVENT, We'll show up early to make sure everything is in order, Set-up our equipment to be ready for Countdown to Provide entertainment to help you Celebrate your Special Occasion...
