Acoustic Mayhem plays a variety of music ranging from the 70's to current, with a large selection of songs being from the 90's. Gin Blossoms, Collective Soul, Nirvana, and Dishwalla are just a few of the great artists covered. You haven't heard these songs for a long time, and you certainly haven't heard them covered acoustically! Crowd interaction is very important, and we enjoy taking requests. You will talk about us with your friends the next day around the water cooler!

August 15, 2016Smurf & Brad were great. The fit in with there group, and had great play sets (along with just about anything that was requested). Their performance lake side was fun, and the large (diverse) group loved them. Performing at the large airshow's seaplane base can be a challenge, but they did quite well and fit right in with the group.
I hope they can be here next year.

We pride ourselves on being friendly, outgoing and very professional. We can of course be goofy and entertaining when the occasion calls for it, but at the end of the day, we're providing a service and accepting payment for it. We can tailor our sound and lighting to fit just about any size stage and will always leave the space we play looking like it did before we arrived.
Jason, Brad and William have all been playing music in the Green Bay area for well over 20 years with different bands - some together, some not. We started the acoustic band to fill the spaces where a full band was too much and to allow ourselves to be creative with song arrangements/selection. We don't take ourselves too seriously and love to have fun with the crowd, large or small.
Acoustic Mayhem started off as a duo in 2011 when Brad and Jason were asked to fill in for another act at a local bar. We showed up with a thrown together set list, never having rehearsed and ended up having a lot of fun! From there, we booked a weekly gig at a bar in Howard and that's where we started to realize we had something unique. We brought in a great crowd week after week and got a lot of great feedback from them, but as time went on, we realized something was missing. Enter William Ward, a local drummer who had played with Jason in previous bands "Circle of Fifths" and "From Summer's Fall". William brought in his cajon talent and rounded out Acoustic Mayhem's sound with some solid percussion.
Our favorite gigs are the outdoor/patio gigs where people are soaking up the sunshine and can have some conversation while we do what we do. We stay plenty busy in the summer, as more and more bars are adding outdoor areas for their customers to enjoy.
We've spent a large amount of money on our P.A. and lighting systems because we believe this gives us an edge over local acoustic acts. Great sound quality and a killer light show just add to the experience!
