First of all I would like to Thank Mr Mendez for being prompt and professional. He did an OUTSTANDING Job on playing the saxophone to the songs used for the wedding ceremony and also for the cocktail hour!!!
Mr Mendez was prompt and dressed for the occasion. It was a very easy process in coordinating the music withhim as well. The guests were impressed and were singing along while he played. I would DEFINITELY recommend this artist, and I would use him again for future events.

About
Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and raised in NYC, Donny started playing music at the age of 13. With roots in classical music,as a clarinet player playing in a New York State orchestra, he received a scholarship to, "Harlem School of the Arts," studying Jazz under the influence of his music teacher, Sergio Larios. After playing the clarinet for three to four years, Donny started playing the saxophone. Not only did he make the switch to then started touring with various famous merengue bands like Amarfis y La Banda de Atakke and Oro Solido touring all over the world. But his main passion was smooth jazz were a couple a years ago started playing smooth jazz for himself. Currently working on his orginals songs coming out soon.
Influences Charlie Parker Michael Brecker, Gerald Albirght Kirk Whalum, Boyz 2 Men Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston Michael Jackson, The Isley Brothers, Earth Wind and FIre, Luther Vandross, Prince etc.

I provide my own sound system on demand if traveling outside of New Jersey and New York sound system will be needed or can team up with DJ.
