Smooth Gruv is and amazing and talented band. I have worked with them many times. They are outstanding musicians with class. They have an a vast repertoire and are able to adapt to any situation. I highly recommend this band and you won't be disappointed.

This is a testament to the quality of their performance and their reliability! They are outstanding! Unfortunately, we were not able to have our annual event in 2020, nor will we have one for 2021. However, we will resume this event in 2022, and we will surely reach out to Smooth Gruv. They have supported our Hillcrest-Marlow Heights Civic Association's Community Day for years. They continue to be a staple in our community!

With influences from R&B of the 70's up to today, funk, smooth jazz, pop, soft rock, contemporary Christian/gospel, and some of own unique originals, the music of “Smooth Gruv” captures a wide and varied audience. We enjoy making music together and believe you, as many others have already, will enjoy making us a part of your gathering.
"Smooth Gruv" has participated in events from the Washington DC Rock-n-Roll Marathon, to Jazz Mixers with Tilt-Entertainment, to local summer concert series performances, to participating in inspirational services in the District of Columbia/Maryland/Virginia area.
"Smooth Gruv" promises to enliven any affair, including: Weddings/Engagements - Birthdays - Family Reunions - Office/Corporate Events - Festivals - House Parties - Church Events - Holiday/Christmas parties - Valentines Day/Couple's events and more.

"Smooth Gruv" will work with you to meet your budget while also providing a unique experience tailored just for you and your guests personal tastes -- from a simple accompanied soloist or trio featuring our fabulous female vocalist, keyboards/guitarist and bass player -- to having the ability to augment our band with an additional male vocalist(s), Trombone and Drums to get your event started off right!
