We had 1000+ in attendance and she did a great job with hosting/announcing and a terrific job with the music, our attendees were having a great time and lots of dancing in the evening! I booked Sloan Lee Music for an important private party I was throwing at our clubhouse a few weeks ago and was THRILLED with the experience! I simply cannot say enough about how smoothly the evening went – all as a direct result of the atmosphere that Sloan helped to create.
Everything was impeccable - from the initial communication with her before booking (other DJs would go incommunicado for days at a time and I just didn't feel like they were a safe bet to book for my party) right up until the very last guest left the party and Sloan was breaking down the equipment.
Now the music…She absolutely hit the nail on the head with the music selection and vibe I wanted for the party (I didn’t have time to put together a playlist). Instead, I just gave her a few songs and bands that I liked (Moby, Cut Copy, Esthero, etc.) and told her I wanted a really relaxed, lounge vibe that was still young and could be danced to and she created just that. I couldn’t have created a better list myself, actually! She also was great with my guests – a few people had requests and she was able to play them on the spot -- and in fact several people, including my Boss, asked for her info so that they could keep it on hand for their next event.
Of all the things you have to keep up with when throwing a party of this size, that last thing you want to worry about is getting a sucky DJ – or worse, a DJ that doesn’t show up! So glad I booked Sloan Lee Music. I’ll definitely be recommending them out to friends and family next time someone I know is looking for an outstanding DJ.
