Professional Jazz Band: solo, duo, or trio. Featuring Jim on multiple instruments including Sax, Trumpet, Vibes/Keyboard, Trombone, Flugelhorn and Flute. 50+yrs experience in straight-ahead jazz, big band swing, bebop, Dixieland, Latin jazz, smooth jazz, classic pop/rock, and Great American Songbook; performing for private parties, weddings, cocktail receptions, corporate banquets, funerals, outdoor festivals, churches, and senior communities. Duo/Trio adds Heidi on vocals and keyboard and/or Craig on guitar, trumpet, and vocals. Over 125 years combined experience in the Trio! I want to say Jim and Heidi did an amazing job at my grandmother’s All-White Surprise Honorary Celebration on 8/29! They arrived on time, were very professional, and even wore all white to match our theme, which I really appreciated!
They played the songs we requested along with some of their own favorite hits and kept everyone entertained throughout the evening. I love live music and was amazed to see Jim play multiple instruments so effortlessly, and to hear a voice like Heidi’s is absolutely to die for! They both have great personalities and brought such a fun, positive energy to the celebration.
All night, I kept getting compliments from our guests about how great they sound. Most importantly, my grandmother absolutely loved them!
They truly helped make her special night one to remember, and I’m so glad we chose them. If you’re wanting live music that sounds great, I would definitely recommend Slammer Jazz for any special event!
PS they’re actually a group of 3. Next time, I will definitely want to hire the whole band. I bet I won’t be disappointed! Hire Them!!!!

We had such a great time listening to Slammer Jazz at our Christmas in July Party! He is very talented! While he performed he gave some history on the songs he was singing. Our residents loved it!
