I am a NYC based editorial and event photographer. My work includes photographing people and local culture to Award Ceremonies, Conferences, Executive Portraits, Headshots, Social Events, and Candid Portraiture.

I hired SJ for my husband's 40th birthday, and he was amazing from start to finish.
He has a very serene nature and moved through the event effortlessly, capturing real moments - not just poses. Since the evening was very much a reunion with friends and family, that was absolutely priceless.
I've worked with photographers across different continents and for a variety of events (weddings, baptisms, birthdays, and more), and one thing I've learned is that a photographer's presence matters just as much as their talent. SJ has this incredibly calm, low-ego way about him that immediately puts everyone at ease. He never made himself the center of attention or got in people's way; instead, he blended seamlessly into the celebration while somehow still capturing every important moment. It felt like he was documenting the event rather than directing it, and I think that's what made the photos so genuine.
On top of that, his communication was excellent, he was punctual, professional, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I couldn't recommend him more highly and would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Post Production
Post Production is the process of digital selection and retouching to generate the final set of images for delivery. This is the quiet part of my services, but it accounts for at least 50% of the time spent on the client’s project. Post production is included on all client work for color correction, exposure correction, cropping, noise reduction, and more. The level of post production work depends on the level of service desired.
Delivery
Digital delivery is the norm for today with various options available. I employ OneDrive cloud services for delivery of client work. Of course, if needed, the client may request and receive physical media for client archival purposes. Feel free to email us or call us anytime for a quote.
