Photography has been my passion since 2008, and since moving to Canada in 2023, I’ve focused on event photography, excelling at capturing candid moments of both people and events. Drawing from my diverse background as an engineer, real estate broker, and former national Karate athlete, my approach to photography is both technical and intuitive. I emphasize a property's architectural charm and market appeal in real estate photography, while my experience in Karate allows me to capture pivotal moments with precision in sports. Whether photographing events or architecture, I frame every shot to highlight authenticity, detail, and movement, ensuring each image resonates deeply.
Six Shutter Photography provides a fully mobile and self-contained photography setup. I come equipped with high-quality professional gear, including:
Mirrorless camera (Canon R series)
On- and off-camera flash units
Softboxes and diffusers
Tripods and light stands
Portable white/black backdrops (if required)
Optional white box for product shots
Drone
360 VR Camera
What I Need from the Client / Venue:
Adequate space for moving and positioning gear, especially during staged or group shots
Access to power outlets (only if on-site flash charging or continuous lighting is needed for long sessions)
A staging or holding area (optional but appreciated) to safely place gear during the event
For outdoor or low-light environments, a heads-up on lighting conditions so I can prepare accordingly
For photo booths or portrait setups: at least 8x8 ft of space for backdrop and lighting
Other Notes:
I do not require any sound system or AV setup.
I work independently and do not require technical assistance from the venue.
My setup is discreet and fast to assemble/disassemble, making it ideal for dynamic, live environments.

From a young age, I was drawn to the emotive power of Steve McCurry’s portraiture and the dramatic compositions of Sebastião Salgado. Their ability to freeze moments in time that evoke both beauty and truth continues to inspire my own candid event photography.
In the realm of architectural and real estate photography, I admire the precision and clarity of Julius Shulman and the modern approach of Mike Kelley—their eye for symmetry, light, and space deeply resonates with my engineering background and my love for structure.
More personally, I’ve also been influenced by flamenco and music photography greats, who have shown how movement, music, and light can be captured with emotion and rhythm.
Finally, I’m inspired every day by the people I photograph—their stories, their energy, and their unscripted moments. That’s what drives me to keep capturing the soul behind every frame.
