Thank you for making our wedding ceremony magical

Devi and her husband Siddharth were an absolute highlight of our South Indian wedding. Their sitar and Carnatic violin duet during the ceremony was incredibly beautiful, soulful, and elegant. They arrived early, were wonderfully professional, and went above and beyond to ensure everything flowed perfectly. So many of our guests were in awe of their performance. We’re truly grateful to have had them as part of our special day!

What to expect

Audiences can expect an Indian classical sitar performance. This can range from meditative and introspective to dynamic and energetic depending on the client's vision. Also, if there's a particular Raga you want to hear, please let me know and I'd be happy to accommodate. While my focus is Indian classical, I'm also open to other types of playing and collaborations with other musicians.

Additional booking notes

At most events, clients will provide a platform and/or a rug with some cushions for the performance.
Let me know if you want to amplify the performance or keep things acoustic (usually only for small, intimate gatherings).

If we're amplifying the performance, then we will need at least one mic stand (two if tabla is involved), at least one microphone (two if tabla is involved), a mixing board that can provide phantom power, a speaker system, a monitor (not absolutely necessary, but really nice to have), and the appropriate XLR cables.

UPON REQUEST:
I can bring my own high quality microphones, XLR cables, and mic stands for the event if needed. Please ask if you'd like this as part of your package. (Mixing board and speakers should still be provided by the venue or DJ.)
