School Night Band is a live band for weddings and private events in Los Angeles, led by touring drummer and multi-instrumentalist Cory James. Cory's stage experience includes Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Wiltern, Stagecoach, Austin City Limits, and festival dates across the U.S. and internationally, the same level of musicianship shows up at your reception, not a watered-down version of it.
Every booking is built around your night specifically. Hand us a full setlist, call out requests live, or leave it wide open and we'll read the room and adjust in real time. Real, live instrumentation instead of backing tracks, a band that keeps the energy climbing from your first dance through last call, and live band karaoke if your guests want to grab the mic.
You'll work directly with the actual musician from your first inquiry through the last song of the night, no agency, no middleman.
