We bring everything needed for a curated whiskey tasting, including premium whiskeys, tasting mats, glassware (if needed), and a professional host who guides guests through each pour with stories, tasting tips, and approachable education. Whether it’s a formal seated event or a more casual walk-up station, we tailor the vibe to your crowd.

We’re The Sipposium — a New York–based team passionate about whiskey, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences. After years of working in premium bars and restaurants, we decided to bring our love for whiskey directly to guests through curated, interactive tasting events.

Our tastings are more than just sipping — they’re stories, laughs, discoveries, and great conversations. We blend education with entertainment to make whiskey approachable and engaging for everyone, whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned enthusiast.

We’ve hosted tastings for private clients, residential buildings, and corporate teams, and we tailor every event to fit the vibe — formal or relaxed, seated or open format.

We believe whiskey is about connection, and we’re here to help your guests connect with the spirit, the stories behind it, and with each other.

Our setup is flexible and can be adapted to a variety of venues, including private homes, event spaces, offices, and common areas in residential buildings. We do not require any special sound or lighting equipment.

Basic requirements include:

1 table (6 ft or larger) or bar-height surface for whiskey setup

Seating and table space for guests if doing a seated tasting (optional for walk-up style)

Access to running water (preferred but not required)

Adequate lighting for guests to read tasting mats and see the whiskey (no spotlighting needed)

Indoor space or outdoor setup with shade/cover (weather-dependent)

We can provide glassware and tasting mats if needed. We do not require a stage, PA system, or AV equipment.
