David Gautreau - Singer/Songwriter

Always playing cover songs everyone wants to hear creating a party and dance atmosphere. From Country music to Southern rock to Beach vibes we play it all mixed in with a few of David Gautreau's original songs.

David began playing music at age 7 when he started learning the piano, and he later added the saxophone. While attending college in Jackson, Tennessee, however, he picked up the guitar, which became his primary instrument. At this time, David began playing gigs around Nashville, performing mostly covers of the country and southern rock songs that he grew up with. He was also writing his own songs, but he was reluctant to perform them live because he “didn’t think they were good enough.” Over the years, however, David continued honing his skills and writing music and incorporating them into his sets when he played live and even began playing at songwriter festivals all over the Gulf Coast.
Now David has four studio albums under his belt and is currently working on his fifth. He’s made a name for himself performing at rodeos all over the country and has even had his singles chart in the top 20 in Australia. In 2023, he partnered with The Delta Current, who is now his full-time backing band.
The Delta Current is three long-time friends from Denham Springs, Louisiana. Erik Herrmann, Robert Holden, and Ty Pendergrass started playing music together initially in their school band and continued after school in various projects over the years. Erik studied music composition at LSU and has written and arranged music for short films, video games, and church productions. Robert studied guitar at Musician’s Institute in California after high school but then returned to Louisiana where he’s now well-known locally for playing with local and touring musicians. As the grandson of a local band director and the son of a guitarist, Ty was raised in a family of musicians and continues to make performing music a focus of his life. He’s played with local bands such as The Lauren Lee Band and Bad Habit.
As a trio Erik, Robert, and Ty bring a varied and authentic blend of musical styles and experience to any show they are a part of.

We have a five to six piece Band so space is needed to accommodate musicians. Thank you.
