About

Hannah Richardson may have sung, “Get Me Some Zzzs” on her most recent album, but this peanut butter obsessed, Irish fiddle loving, Harry Potter addicted, teenage country-pop sensation doesn’t exactly have sleep on her schedule.

As a 15-year old Pennsylvania native, Hannah’s childhood involved running around in cornfields, listening to her parents blast Fleetwood Mac, Alison Krauss, and the Jesus Christ Superstar soundtrack. Now, Hannah’s original music is making its own impact; its pop - country - Irish flair inspiring music-lovers of all ages.

Hannah is an artist able to meld both the turbocharged feeling of her childhood with the poignant and poppy drive of the future. This summer, she will be releasing Chasing Rainbows; an album accompanied by touring, music videos, and her junior year of high school. “Chasing Rainbows is a collection of songs embodying everything I love about music.” Hannah says. “I’m hoping it speaks to someone and lets them feel the sunshine in life...” Blazing with mandolins, cellos, electric guitars, and lyrics sweetly laced with a lil’ southern twang, Chasing Rainbows is set to be Hannah’s best album yet, and one she hopes everyone will find real and relatable.

Although Hannah is on her way to becoming a major songwriter, she identifies as an entertainer at heart. From the time she was six years old, Hannah has performed in over 500 shows, singing from New York City to Los Angeles. Whether belting it out at The Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY, acting as a sassy teenager from the 1950s in a Nittany Theatre play, or premiering her original music at a café in Ventura Beach, CA, Hannah performs everywhere and anywhere she can...

Speaking of doing everything she can; Hannah has used her talents in graphic design, filmography, and professional writing to secure a position with Metiza Magazine; a publication focused on inspiring and encouraging young women to be their best selves in all their unique, talented, silly and beautiful glory. As a head writer for Metiza's "Music & Diversions" category, Hannah has personally succeeded in securing interviews for major and up-and-coming artists such as Kalie Shorr, Brooke Eden, Olivia Lane, and Southern Halo. Another aspect of Hannah’s life is her charitable contributions. “I once got a message from a little girl, (a fan), who said she didn’t get why God put her here." Hannah says. "For whatever reason, that message in particular just hit me really hard.” These types of correspondences began her extensive contributions to Gomee Girl, an organization inspiring girls to be themselves. Through positive social media campaigns, school assembly events, and patches with positive images and messages for girls
that can be worn on everything from backpacks to blue jeans, the organization’s mission is improving the self-esteem of young girls. As the face of the company, Hannah has assumed multiple responsibilities, but most importantly, run an advice column. Since the column’s initiation, Gomee Girl has received hundreds of requests, becoming an extremely rewarding part of Hannah’s life that has led to the support of numerous young girls.
