Do you love a particular pop song but want to hear in an acoustic, jazzy setting? Do you love R&B, jazz, bossa nova, pop, or all of the above? Do you want sounds with influences from around the globe? Looking for a great live performance to get your party going? That's what we love. We've got you.
Our core group comes as a four piece, with guitar, bass, piano, and various percussion setups, but we also add on with some of our amazing friends to expand the sound for big events that need a few more layers to get things rolling.
Our technical and collaborative experience helps us in direct communication with other vendors and coordinators to make your job easier. If your audio/video companies need technical specifications or if coordinators need to communicate the details of the program, we’re happy to figure that out for you.

Simplé is a Toronto-based band blending R&B, pop, and global influences into a sound shaped by diaspora, community, and musical curiosity. Formed in 2023 by Alaina, Malou, Kevin, and Matt, Simplé’s versatility draws from their individual musical experiences that include choirs, rondallas, DJ collectives, percussion groups, city-pop bands, and metal acts that have performed across Toronto and throughout North America.

Rooted in shared Filipino-Canadian experiences, Simplé’s music reflects the sounds of their family karaoke nights, high-school talent shows, and playlists from 2000s websites and jam sessions. Their performances weave modern sounds and genres with reinterpretations of traditional Filipino kundiman, offering contemporary arrangements that bring the emotional stories and sounds of beloved art songs to new audiences. Their incorporation of global influences, from the Philippines to Brazil, reflects their ongoing learning, appreciation, and connections with Toronto’s multicultural music community.

Simplé has performed across the Greater Toronto Area for audiences like Toyota Canada, Amazon Canada, the City of Mississauga with RBC, and the City of Pickering. In November 2025, the band convened and headlined HERE/THERE: Sounds of a Filipino Diaspora at Rec Room Square One, a concert supported by the City of Mississauga featuring fellow Filipino diasporic artists gee. and Harana Kwintet. They have also appeared at STACKT Market for the inaugural Kalamansi Fest, and were featured in a 30-minute television special on Filipino TV for their Freestyle Friday series in 2023. Their live performances feature collaborator Rhowin on guitar (Banana Sundaze, QLB Band, Creating Encounters).

Recording new music, Simplé is preparing for their first releases in 2026.

We will bring our instruments for the event, and can arrange to bring a PA system and additional sundries if you need it! As long as you can supply us with power and possible shelter if the weather isn't looking too great, we've got the rest.
