Silver Cross is a Classic Christian rock band. We play what would be called contemporary in the 70s, 80s, and some early 90s. Our music is loved by adults as well as the younger crowd. We have played Christian music all of our lives and these are our favorite songs. We play multiple styles: from blues and guitar rock to synth and unplugged songs.

What to Expect
At a Silver Cross concert you'll get a lot of music. We don't waste a lot of time with explaining each song over and over. We let the music speak for itself. You can expect to experience high energy music to be contrasted by slow and spiritual songs ... all with a groove. Kids enjoy our music, but the parents remember when this music was new. Its a time loop to the beginnings of Christian Rock. We all called it contemporary Christian back then.
Individually we have traveled in multiple Christian music bands for most of our lives. Most of us grew up in southern gospel, but just like most kids, we yearned for the "contemporary" stuff. So we played that music when not on stage, that is until we got old enough to join the Christian rock scene. Now we play our favorites from those years. Dallas Holm, Russ Taff, Petra, 77s, PFR, and Mylon Lefevre to name just a few.
We are well received by young and old. We have opened for 'The Jesus Painter, and Chonda Pearce, We have done big events through Cincinnati and small events as well. We would love to play for you.

Influences & Inspiration
We all grew up listening to Mylon LeFevre, Russ Taff, Petra, and the Imperials. There are also some not so mainstream groups like the 77s, Harvest, BTR and PFR that Silver Cross covers as well.
requirements will depend on the venue. Stage should be large enough handle keys, drums, and two guitarists.
