Oluwasegun Iyanuoluwa Odewumi popularly known as Shyfi (ShyfiBeatz producer name) was born in the city of Lagos on the 16th of June. Shyfi is a recording artiste, record producer, songwriter, dancer and sound engineer. He is currently under the label C.E.O Records (CENTRAL ENTERTAINMENT OASIS) which he started with his team with the main aim of bringing new sounds to the industry and also taking the brand international.

EARLY LIFE
Oluwasegun Iyanuoluwa Odewumi was born in Illorin into a religious family of 4 children.[1] He attended Hadex Comprehensive School for both his primary and also high school education. Shyfi grew up listening to legendary acts such as Lagbaja,Miriam Makeba, Harry Belafonte, King Sunny Ade, Fela Kuti and was marveled by their musical creativity and knowledge in melody. Shyfi was first discovered in church by Mr Jamiu where he was free styling to to a keyboard instrumental. He was then taken into the studio to record his first single. He also talked about the onset of his first career and how his parent saw it as a joke in the beginning. In 2015, Shyfi left for the States to further his educational career.
MUSICAL CAREER
His first musical production credit started off in 2014 when he recorded his first single “First Girl” which was produced, mixed, and mastered by hit producer Excel. He then took a break from the musical scene so as to develop and perfect his craft in beat making. In 2016, Shyfi went back to Nigeria for holiday, this was when he continued his musical journey with the release of his official single titled "Special Feeling". When he came back from the United States, Shyfi decided to professionally venture into record production and sound engineering. In 2016, he received his first professional credit production with the release of his hit single "Ka Jo". Ka jo championed on different digital stores such as Itunes, Spotify, Google Play [2] and others. He is currently named as no. 2 on the regional charts in West Virginia.[3] In late 2016, he released a parody of Wizkid's Ojuelegba in which he titled Hustle[4]
In early 2017, he released three brand new singles. He is working on dropping new singles in the later quarter of 2017.
