Sho’Stoppa is a Mississippi recording artist, songwriter, and live performer originally from Belzoni and based in Shaw. As the owner of Steppaz Nation Music, he creates music rooted in real experiences, blending Southern Soul, R&B, Rap, and Crunk.
His releases include Da Come Up and “Kiss Her” featuring BDawg. His music ranges from high-energy club tracks to trail-ride songs and heartfelt material such as “Stop Da Violence.”

The final two-song set and content are confirmed before the event.
Influences and inspiration
I am my own biggest influence. I know what it took to become the man holding this microphone. My life, my mistakes, my survival, and my growth give me something real to say.
I’ve faced moments that could have ended my story, but I’m still here writing it. Every setback has challenged me to find another way forward. Every song gives me a chance to turn what I’ve lived through into something somebody else can feel.
My Mississippi roots run deep. I create from how I feel and what I know, giving each song the voice and energy it deserves. Whether I’m bringing the crowd to its feet or speaking on pain, love, and change, there is a piece of me in the music.
I’m building a legacy my children can be proud of. I want them to know that their father took responsibility, kept growing, and had the courage to pursue something he believed in. Watching my own progress reminds me why I started—and why I have to keep going.
