Overview
An award winning recording artist, Shock Value is an alternative/indie band based out of the Lehigh Valley/Philadelphia area. They have two EPs released in addition to several other originals and countless covers of contemporary alternative and pop hits and past favorites - enough to fill a 3-hour show! They bring great enthusiasm and energy to every show we play and are always excited to play new venues, make new friends and contacts, and grow their ever-expanding fan base!

What to expect
Expect a mix of rock, pop, and classic rock centering on alternative and crossover hits. Along with music, a Shock Value show is an experience of lights and visuals as well. Our high energy stage presence, emanating from our energetic vocalist Joey Letcher, is sure to keep any crowd entertained and engaged.
About
Our band was formed in early 2013 when Michael Dino and Joey Letcher got the idea to combine their musical talents. They added good friend John “DJ Swierch” Swierczek to handle sound equipment. Through a mutual friend, Shock Value added Matt Malloy as full time drummer in May 2013.
Shock Value has been active throughout Pennsylvania and parts of New Jersey for 6 years, playing gigs such as Electric City Music Conference, the American Cancer Society telethon, and our own annual music festival, WoodShock. As of 2019, Shock Value is preparing to release their second EP, "the college EP," singles from which, "Cope" and "Air Mattress" are currently available on YouTube and SoundCloud. The full EP will be released to all music streaming outlets in addition to a physical release.
