January 13, 2026We hired this caricature artist for our daughter’s 5th birthday party. The kids and adults were all happy with their drawings, and the artwork itself was well done. Thank you!
That said, for a children’s party we were hoping for a more polished and kid-friendly presentation. Some guests were uncomfortable with the strong smell of cigarette smoke which can be a deterrent for young children.
The talent is there, but I would recommend a bit more attention to presentation and environment to better suit family events.

I have been a cartoonist/illustrator for more than 20 years, and enjoy creating art with a wide variety of subjects. I have worked as a comic strip artist, and comic book artist, as well as drawing caricatures. I have studied under well known artists in those area's, and also teach those disciplines to school children/teens. I believe that art should bring joy to as many people as possible!
Please notify if you need Jerry to bring chairs, lighting, tables, or canopy. He can also do "floating" caricatures - going from table to table, and digital caricatures - electricity must be available. Breaks are usually in 2 hour intervals (when booked for 4 hrs or more).
Jerry can also create one of a kind studio pieces. These can be stand alone, or together with your event (ex. large format watercolor caricature scene with white space left for guests to sign - can then be framed!)
