Shimmy can be a full experience - from hosting corporate events to producing bespoke shows. Drawing on her professional experience in Product Management, working with Shimmy will include a defined scope and expectations while still delivering an experience that goes to 11.

A Chicago burlesque performer, event host, teacher, and model, Shimmy LaRoux is your bad girl with good home training. Bringing a combination of quirky charm and infectious energy, Shimmy can channel classic Hollywood, be playfully cheeky, or serve fierce diva realness.

Shimmy LaRoux was crowned Miss Burlesque World 2022 and is a 5-time inductee into the Top 50 Most Influential Performers list. She headlined the 2023 Tulsa Burlesque Festival and the 2023 Baby Grand Festival in Cape Town, South Africa. In 2023, she was a Featured Performer at the Panama Burlesque Festival, the Colorado Burlesque Festival, and the What the Funk Festival in Seattle. In addition to these accolades, Shimmy closed the 2022 Dutch Burlesque Festival and performed at the 2022 Stockholm Burlesque Festival.

She is also honored to be a 2019 and 2023 Mover, Shaker, and Innovator at the Burlesque Hall of Fame, a headliner at the 2019 Ohio Burlesque Festival, and the winner of Best Overall at the 2019 Dublin Burlesque Festival. She is an internationally traveling performer!

Shimmy is also an International Playboy Playmate of the Year (Denmark 2023) and a 2-time FHM Cover Model.

Fire Performances (requirements - including, but not limited to)
* Fire safety will be included in the bid
* Performances no longer than 8 minutes (performance) or 15 minutes at a time (ambient). If multiple acts are requested, the performer will have at least a 15-minute break in between sets, and/or another performer will be hired in tandem.

All performances (requirements - including, but not limited to)
* Performer will have a safe and private area to change and store items that can be locked
* Performer will have access to security at all times
* Venue to provide a safe performance area with appropriate sound/lighting for the performer
