Sheryl went above and beyond when we requested her acting help for one of our revolutionary adventures. She was so eager to lend her skills to make our event extra special, and we could not have asked for more. Our clients were absolutely blown away by Sheryl’s Abigail Adams, and they didn’t want to move on to the next stop on the adventure! We would absolutely recommend Sheryl if you are looking for someone to bring a story to life.
Our third, fourth, and fifth graders were captivated by Sheryl's performance. They were convinced that they were watching a blind, hearing impaired mute, until she came back out to explain her improvisation. The materials sent to our school before the presentation were an important part of the program's success.
Response from Sheryl Faye Presents Historical Women:
Thank you so much.
I recently had the pleasure of watching Sheryl Faye Presents Historical Women's production of Clara Barton. It was educational and informative. Sheryl had a special way of bringing Clara to life. I look forward to seeing any of her other productions. I saw this at a Senior Center. It is sure to please young and old alike. I would highly recommend this professional and moving production.
Sheryl engaged her audiences within moments. Her performances as Helen Keller were so convincing, that the children were surprised that she was not blind and deaf when they met her. Wonderful performance that does more than educate - it inspired quite a powerful discussion afterwards that had touched the class. Thank you Sheryl.
I had the pleasure of watching the reaction of a hundred+ school children as they watched Sheryl Faye perform as the legendary Helen Keller. From the moment Ms. Faye entered in character, the energy of the room came to complete focused attention. In their eyes, you could see this historic figure had now seemingly 'come to life'. Her spectacular performance gave the children a special insight into Helen Keller's world. Ms. Faye makes all her historic figures honest and accessible, the educational value of this cannot be underscored enough. If your organization or school is looking to enrich their students experience, build compassion and understanding, I highly recommend Sheryl Faye presents.
Watching Sheryl Faye portray Helen Keller in various stages of life in front of an audience of fourth-graders--notorious for squirming and losing focus--and seeing them sit riveted by her presentation was magical. She incited the students to laugh, gasp in surprise, murmur in disappointment, and then ask really insightful questions at the end. Very impressive in today's era of multimedia distractions! I highly recommend her for any school group.
I had the pleasure of seeing Sheryl Fay portray Helen Keller. The way the actress told the story had me, and the second graders in the audience, mesmerized. The show isn't dumbed down for kids, this is real theater. The actress took time to explain to the younger kids in the group that Helen Keller would get frustrated and was prone to fits, so she would be getting emotional but that it was only pretend. Sheryl patiently took questions from the audience and even had a Braille book for the kids to touch. I would highly recommend this show to educate and entertain students, teachers and lovers of history.
