Sherieka Ashanti

Expect to have a wonderful show. I like to create a tasteful mixture of soul and hiphop so there will be moments for dancing, head bopping and also moments to just slow down and vibe out to wonderful production and sound.

Sherieka Ashanti, a young female artist in the center of Washington DC who has been singing before she could talk. Whether its an original piece or its a song from on e of her favorites, (Anita Baker, Jill Scott, Lauryn Hill, Musiq Soulchild, etc.) the list goes on and on. Her voice often described as a Jhene Aiko with a jazzy flare. She also loves to write ballads, poetry, or a quick sixteen.. as long as its over a nice beat, it can be done. She has performed at events throughout the DC area and Philadelphia but is working to build that list of events and places up in hopes to spread her talents worldwide. Be a part of her experience and witness pure talent.

I would need a proper set up to be able to hear myself properly without the echo of speakers. Good lighting for clear footage of my set. Also, a space where i would be able to interact with the crowd and they could see me as well.
