February 24, 2026I found Shawn by pure fate via google search for my 30th birthday party— he did magic, we played with pendulums, learned some palmistry, and got some tarot readings. He was informative and held everyone’s attention. Truly nailed every trick and had us all gobsmacked!!

A small open area or “mini-stage” where guests can see clearly
Standard room lighting is usually perfect (no theatrical lighting necessary)

I draw inspiration from performers who create powerful moments through presence, connection, and simplicity. Eugene Burger has been one of my biggest influences and a previous mentor. His calm approach, meaningful storytelling, and sense of wonder shape how I design every experience.
Outside the world of magic, I’m inspired by musicians and bands known for their intimate, connective performances. Artists like Iron & Wine, Death Cab for Cutie, and The Lumineers have a way of inviting an audience into a shared emotional space: warm, communal, and honest. That atmosphere is something I strive for in every performance.
My goal is to bring that same sense of belonging, curiosity, and gentle mystery to my own work.
