Born in New Jersey and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. In the "Historic District" best known as the "Westside" of Paterson.
It's destiny for Shawn to become a successful music artist as his new career has been founded off of younger years of practice, and whits, and strong interest in various genres of music at a young age.
Shawn has been a very special kid since birth, in the words of his mother Tamika Davis of Paterson, New Jersey. Hitting milestones early and constructed an early ear for soul Hip Hop music, often demanding various of musicians to be played throughout the day to meet the satisfaction of his young mind, which stretched farther than his years as said by most who knew him in his youth.
His name SKB(Shawn Killer Bee) (S- Shawn, KB- His Fathers local DJ Nickname in his earlier years of music.
Shawn has been into Hip hop, R&b, Jazz since 3 years old reciting old WuTang lyrics, to Sade, even deeper into your world favorite Luther Vandross for years of living under his elders(Grandparents) he's adapted a true older ear for music.
Recently, he's hooked up with a friend of the neighborhood Dominique Whitaker(Scoot Over of Paterson, New Jersey) to form a group called "The KillerBee's", also with a couple of artist who aren't actually Killerbee's, but considered a Bee(Family of The KIllerbee's), Devente Greaves(New Artist Cozy $teez of Paterson New Jersey) being a Bee most favored, and second worth the mention Jaquan Williams(SWIZZZ of Paterson, New Jersey)
No relation to the world famous Wutang Killerbee's founded by RZA of the Wutang Movement.
The Killerbee's give a very Charismatic, Edgy, Cynical, Old but New feeling to Hip Hop and in the words of those to catch the latest work behind the group, a breath of fresh air for the latest wave of Hip Hop released in this generation but in tact enough for any older ear to quickly hop on board.
Shawn is now working on a mix tape, a personal album that will stay in Paterson to simply wake up his fellow patersonian ears before he can capture the world, it's concept has a lot of meaning to it and will be explained throughout the masterpiece itself. Not sure of the dates his tape will be finished and released he's been in the studio and recently pursuing a management team to further his performance dates.
