Sharon has been playing violin/fiddle for over 40 years. She plays Irish, Scottish, Bluegrass, Old-Time, and some swing but it's all rock and roll to her. She can be booked solo or with an ensemble. Sharon plays weddings, and contra-dances around the state. She can also be seen fiddling and hula hooping at festivals such as Fiesta in the Park at Lake Eola, Orlando, FL twice a year! Sharon is also an instructor and teaches all genres to all ages.

May 11, 2026Sharon was very professional and easy to work with. She played fiddle at our museum's open house, in our garden space where guests were picnicking. Our guests enjoyed her music and presence. We wanted something different than a guitarist this time, that wasn't super loud, and Sharon was perfect.

September 25, 2018We recently hired Sharon to play the fiddle at our mother's Memorial Celebration. She did a wonderful job playing around the mood of the day. At times she was quietly playing in the background and other times, she was foot stomping fun! She even sang a bit of a toast to our loved one which we really enjoyed.

Sharon's mission is to bring fun and good memories to whatever function she is doing, be it a wedding cocktail hour with a nice mix of background music, or a driving beat for a contra dance, or pub gig.
All sound is provided for most events. Professional dress or costume as required. One's event can count on timeliness on performance with a smile and energy. Sharon can perform solo, or as a trio, which includes, additional guitar, mandolin/ bouzouki, tenor banjo, and bass.
I have been playing the violin since I was 10 years old. It is my voice. My mission in life is to make people happy either by a pleasant sound, or moving to the music. It's the best secret to life. Playing music is my religion. Besides a love for Celtic, Appalachian Old-Time, and any other music that gets people to move, I teach violin/fiddle as well. Sharon also loves calling out dance moves for kids and adults alike for house parties, active aging programs, kids workshops. Sharon also facilitates jam and learning sessions around Orlando area.
