ShannonOgon On Fire was described by the Carlsbad Current Argus as “A Flare to Inspire” “Flames illuminated the night sky above the Carlsbad beach, and Shannon Newton was in her element. She leaned back her head folding almost halfway to the ground as she lowered a flanking torch towards her mouth. The fire extinguished a split second after the fire hit her youngest giving the appearance of ingestion.
Minutes late Newton brandished a two swords, about three feet long doused in a flammable powder, swinging the blazing blades high over her head as onlookers cheered. “
