Thanks Coby!
Shanna was great. Her performance was exactly what we needed. She was on time, sang the songs that we selected, and really made our memorial service stand out! I would definitely recommend Shanna to anyone looking for someone special for their occasion!

An affordable musician/entertainer with a charming smile, sweet voice, and an adaptable attitude at rolling with whatever she's given. She has her own amp, mic, and stand, and instruments, and would only need an outlet to plug them into. She can learn any style of song or cover that might suit the event she's working, and is a great choice when live music would be a welcome addition but they don't have the budget for a full band. When desired, she has an acoustic trio to accompany her for a bigger sound necessary for larger spaces. She has over three hours of original material, including funny songs and great banter in between, and can play any Taylor Swift song anyone may request.
Shanna in a Dress
"Quirky folk pop from a clever millennial who sucks at dating and hates pants"
Shanna in a Dress is a smashing combination of clever lyrics, sweet serenade, and tongue twisting rhymes. She has been performing since her days at the University of Virginia where she attracted a loyal following of fans that loved her feel-good humor, catchy melodies, and entertaining stage presence. Shanna is a diverse songwriter with a playful setlist containing material ranging from sunny toe-tapping tunes to intensely emotional ballads to humorous ear candy. Her lyrics are laden with clever wordplay and are relatable across all ages.
Shanna released her first EP More Than Just a Hoar in 2012 after a successful Kickstarter campaign. Her style is often compared to Ingrid Michaelson, Colbie Caillat and Jason Mraz. She doesn't take herself too seriously off-stage or on, and her self-reported style is "happy folk pop with a twist of humor, sarcasm, and occasional tears." Shanna moved to Boulder, Colorado in 2014 after a cross-country bike trip where she fell in love with the town and has since established herself as a staple figure in the local Boulder music community and hosts an all-female monthly showcase called Women in Song.
All I need is an outlet to plug in my amp. I've got all I need for a solo musician set.
