Shana and Will photographed our holiday party and provided videos as well. They shot tons of pictures and also provided raw video footage. AND even though I didn't request it (in fact I even said it wasn't necessary) they provided a highlight reel set to the tune of National Lampoons Holiday Road which captured the heart of the party! Shana was absolutely wonderful to deal with. She made herself available to take my calls and texts (which were a lot!) so that she could answer every question I could think to ask. They moved about the party with grace and professionalism and caught it from every possible angle. I don't need to shop around for a photographer the next time I need one; I know exactly who I'd call, Shana Clarke and Will Clarke. Thank you Shana and Will for capturing our memories in a wonderful way!

Shana and her husband, Will were absolutely perfect for our backyard wedding photography! They were so outgoing and friendly, made the obligatory family photos fun and captured all the little details of our backyard wedding. We were looking for a variety of portraits as well as candid photos and they got it all! Will brought his drone and took photos from the sky, even us departing the wedding on the boat! Received the edited photos thru google drive just a week later. I highly recommend Shana and no detail was left behind!!

We had to change plans for our daughter’s wedding at the last minute and moved it from Ohio where we had everything planned to Virginia where we knew no one. We found Shana Nichole. She made the whole afternoon fun and stress free. We had a great experience and the pictures turned out beautiful.
My wife and I hired Shana to photograph our daughter's wedding. She and her assistant were punctual and well prepared upon arrival. The weather that afternoon was less than ideal but not a complete washout. Her ability to organize the wedding party and efficiently arrange for both traditional and spontaneous posed shots was exceptional. Not a minute was wasted nor did anyone feel rushed. While I was immediately impressed with her organizational skills, it was her creative eye that left the most significant impression. Her ability to capture the candid moments that occur within fraction of a second is what separates Shana from other photographers. Her editing and turnaround is just as remarkable as her eye. As if that is not enough, her outgoing and cheerful personality inspires confidence and joy. I can unequivocally endorse Shana. She is an all star. You will not be disappointed. My style and main goal of photography and videography is to capture events and emotions as they are naturally playing out. There are obviously times and places for staged/posed photos and I always try to capture those as well, but when looking back on photos (and videos), most people want to see how happy they were, catching that glance at your new husband, your child making a wish before he blows out the candles, grandma dancing like no one's looking. I try to be there for THOSE moments. They are what truly describes the event!

I'm Shana [pronounced Shaw-na] Nichole, a photographer & videographer based out of Norfolk, VA. I am known to most of my friends as a "cat lady" but I like to consider myself a lover of all things furry and cute! When I'm not photographing, I enjoy traveling the world and meeting new people, a whiskey neat, and some lovely animal within petting distance.
Well, it all started with a classic Pentax K1000 film camera that was gifted to my boyfriend and I... we didn't realize it at the time, but that tiny piece of machinery would change both of our lives forever ! What a blessing it has been to share the same hobby and passion with the one you love. I just couldn't get any luckier!
I specialize in portrait sessions, weddings, and real estate in the Hampton Roads area.
The only thing I require is a board feed for audio if I'm shooting video. Everything else is organic.
