Hello! I perform solo acoustic on my violin. Amplification is possible for extra fee. I will bring my instrument, iPad, pedal to change pages on iPad and a stand. I have a clip-on violin pick-up if amplification is required. I perform classical, pop and jazz songs! I can also improvise with other musicians on the spot.

Alise Ewan is a classically trained violinist, chamber musician, and versatile performer across Classical, Jazz, Afrobeats, Hip-Hop, and Pop music. Born in Latvia, she began her career with rigorous classical training. Besides numerous orchestras, studio sessions and solo performances, she also performed as first violin in a string quartet aboard the Celebrity Infinity, traveling from Alaska to Antarctica, including the Falkland Islands.
She has shared the stage with artists such as Smokey Robinson, Eagles, Andrea Bocelli, and Sigur Ros, and played high-profile events such as the Conde Nast Traveler Annual Meeting, a private concert for Francis Ford Coppola, Candlelight Programs, and as first violin in a string quartet for a Bachelor episode filmed in Napa. She has also recorded at the renowned 2200 Studios in Sausalito, Soundwave Studio, and 25th Street Recording in Oakland.
A seasoned traveler who has visited over 40 countries, Alise speaks fluent English, Latvian, and Russian and has modeled professionally, bringing poise and creativity to her performances. She offers private online instruction via Zoom and specializes in live violin music for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. Certified in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Bookkeeping, and Applied Accounting/Business Management from College of Marin, she combines musical artistry with a professional, organized approach to her work and client bookings.
I am very flexible and experienced playing in different condtions, however can't perform in rainy, cold or too hot conditions because my violin won't stay in tune and can't get wet as a wooden instrument. When playing outdoors, I need an umbrella.
