Walter was perfect for our birthday party for my wife’s 75th. The music was expertly performed and Walter had no problem playing our personal favorites. He was adept at playing everything from American standards to the Stroll. Walt is personable and our guests were totally impressed with his playing. Hands down, Walter is a great musician. He was punctual, very knowledgeable, and just a joy to be around! We gave Walter a piece of music with a 24-48 hour turn around for our wedding and he executed it flawlessly. Anytime I need a musician for something, Walter will be the very first person I will call.

About
Walter Schick's musical life began early and has continued nonstop until the present day. At the age of 6, he began taking piano lessons. He also began taking lessons on the double bass and throughout high school, continued lessons on both instruments. At age 17, Walter was accepted into The Juilliard School where he received both his Bachelor and Masters degree.
Since graduating, he has been making a full time living playing at prestigious venues all over the NYC area including Carnegie Hall, affairs for the King and Queen of Spain, the U.S. open and the 2004 Republican National Convention at Madison Square Garden to name a few. He was also the house pianist at the New York Palace Hotel for five years and frequently performs at The Roxy Hotel and The Soho Grand Hotel in NYC.
Besides playing, he is also an accomplished composer and has scored short films, documentaries and full length movies.
