Seven Veils Belly Dance is a trio of classically trained Egyptian dancers. We provide family friendly performances for parties, wedding receptions, luncheons and many other types of events. Seven Veils will tailor a performance to fit your needs ranging from modern Egyptian pop to classical or folkloric. October 27, 2013Sandra arrived on time with a smile on her face. She delighted my guests with her wonderful dancing, perplexing shimmies and dazzling radiance. We enjoyed the lesson afterwards, where she broke it all down for us. Even if we didn't completely "get it", it was fun giving it a try. We all felt special with the jangling hip scarves that she brought for us to wear. The experience was completely positive.

August 19, 2013The dancer is beautiful and personable, I think her dancing could be better. There was not a lot of the typical belly movements and I had hoped she would do some fun flirting with our birthday guy. I wanted it more personal to him. Her dancing was pretty, flowing and graceful but not a lot of belly or hip.

I agree, that particular performance was not my best. Unfortunately, I had injured my back earlier in the week and was dancing on a herniated disc in my lower back (against my doctor's orders). By the time I had injured myself, it was too late to find a replacement dancer for your event, and I felt that it would be unprofessional to leave you with no dancer at all. I was unable to do any sharp movements with my hips or shimmy for any length of time due to the pain I was feeling in my lower back. I apologize for the "lack luster" set I performed, but after taking a deposit for the event I felt obligated to show up and perform for you.
