Cephas Aban Nmai, founded his drumming company Seven Stars African Drumming in 2014. Cephas has been a traditional Ghanaian drummer since his teen years. He began playing with Kusun Ensemble while still living in his native Accra, Ghana.
After years of performing for tourist and native Ghanaians alike, at hotel performances, weddings, graduations, office and birthday parties and numerous venues, Cephas decided to branch out on his own.
In addition to drumming, Cephas teaches drumming and dancing workshops. He also in a composer and arranger of songs and videos. You can see his videos on Youtube and Facebook (Seven Stars African Drumming). You can hear his songs on Bandcamp and (link hidden)
Cephas shares his passion and exuberance for his culture in all he does. His infectious, positive energy and smile will have you and your party or group up and moving in no time.
