About
Seraph Siege (Noelle Martin) grew up under the influence of her classical pianist mother and rock guitarist father, studying various genres of music with her family. It wasn’t until 2016 that she began to learn the violin under direction of Alamance Strings’ Amy Marsh, where she learned classical technique and fiddle tunes. Noelle is a 2024 graduate of the University of North Carolina Asheville with her B.A. in Music Performance, studying genres such as classical, jazz, pop, and bluegrass/old-time, as well as learning music technology. Her solo project, Seraph Siege, demonstrates her electronic production competency and her willingness to explore outside the boundaries of classical and folk music.
Noelle has worked with members of the Asheville Symphony, the Blue Ridge Orchestra, UNC Asheville faculty, and Berklee alumni to hone her craft. Noelle adds character to her musicianship by adding electronic elements to her performances, incorporating synthesizers and effects pedals to create unique timbres.
